Our mission is taken from Jesus Great commision in Matthew 28;19-20
We seek to reach the Lost and help them become strong, loving, mature disciples of Jesus.
A disciple is defined by Jesus as someone who keeps his commands by the power of the Holy Spirit.
His commands can be summed up as:
"Love God/Jesus with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and
Love people as Jesus loves people"
NBC church provides opportunities for teaching, fellowship, worship prayer and outreach to enable people to grow stronger as disciples of Jesus.

We have been meeting in Atherton, near Manchester since January 2019. We have been very encouraged to see new people coming every week and returning! Folks seem to enjoy our fellowship time after the meeting with refreshments served after. We sing a variety of new and old songs in our worship such as This is Amazing Grace, What a beautiful name and I am who you say I am. W e include our children in the meeting with songs and a children's talk.
We are excited to see people finding a relationship with Jesus for the first time at NBC and to see people who havent been to a church for many years finding a spiritual home with us.
Our Pastor Stan Smith is a Primary school teacher of 21 years experience-.He has pastored a church for 16 years in Eccles Salford befor moving to Atherton. Stan has always had a desire to reach out to the lost and help them experience God's grace and love and to become strong mature loving disciples of Jesus.
Stan's wife Linda is a retired nurse and leads worship at NBC. They have four adult children and 13 lively grandchildren!
A disciple of Jesus can be summed up as a person who loves God/Jesus with all his heart, soul, mind and strength and loves people in a self sacrificial way.
This is enabled by receiving God's grace, love and power daily!

New Beginnings Church is a new church in Atherton. Meeting since January 2019 we love to sing praises, to spend time with each other, to hear God's word taught and to reach out to our community with the love of Jesus.
